Golf In Schools
Making Golf Fun and Easy To Teach and Learn
We provide the equipment, curriculum and in-service training for Physical Education teachers and volunteers throughout the state at no cost to the schools. The Golf In Schools program is a collaboration with the Midwest PGA Section, and uses the SNAG (Starting New At Golf) teaching method.
Watch this video to see how much fun it is for kids to learn to play golf using SNAG.
There is no cost to the schools. We provide the equipment, curriculum and in-service training for Physical Education teachers and volunteers throughout the state. Hands-on teaching support, if necessary, is provided by PGA professionals as well as trained certified volunteers. KGF Trustee Jeff Burey (also a PGA Professional) leads this initiative for KGF, providing the training and overseeing the implementation of the program in each school district.
Donations to the Golf in Schools program may be directed to a specific school or school district. For information about the program or how you can participate, contact KGF at [email protected].
