“Charlie Pro”, as he is affectionately known by his friends, served as Head Professional of Prairie Dunes Country Club for thirty-one years before his retirement in 2003. Craig served as the host professional for five United States Golf Association national championships, including the 2002 United States Women’s Open, and the International Match for the Curtis Cup. Under his watch, Prairie Dunes also hosted numerous championships conducted by the Kansas Golf Association, the Trans-Mississippi Golf Association, the Big Eight, Big XII, and the NCAA.
