Promoting the Future and Preserving the History of Golf in Kansas
Kansas Golf Foundation was formed in 1991. It is the only tax-exempt charitable foundation devoted to golf that operates across the entire state.
We Promote the Future of Golf by giving college scholarships to junior golfers and by helping kids learn to play golf in school.
We Preserve the History of Golf through the Kansas Golf Hall of Fame.
Educating and Equipping Students For Their Future Through Golf
Scholarships For Junior Golfers
The Kansas Junior Golf Scholarship is awarded each spring to five junior golfers who will attend an accredited college or university in Kansas. The grant is $6,000, payable over four years.
The Kansas Women’s Golf Association Memorial Scholarship is awarded each spring and is a one-time grant of $1,500. Recipients may attend any accredited college or university, in Kansas or elsewhere.
How To ApplyTeaching Kids to Play Golf in School
Golf in Schools is a KGF collaboration with the PGA Midwest Section to introduce the game of golf to every student in Kansas. As of 2018, over 200,000 students – grades K-12 from Liberal to Overland Park - are learning to play golf in school.

The Kansas Golf Hall of Fame honors men and women who have made outstanding contributions to the game of golf or who are distinguished by their accomplishments as a Player, Club Professional, Coach, Architect or Superintendent.
