Phil Miller Tribute

The Kansas Golf Foundation held a special virtual retirement celebration for long-time KGF Executive Director, Phil Miller on March 8th. Friends, family, and supporters of golf from all over the country joined for a unique videoconference. Stories and conversation honored Phil’s recent retirement after 17 years of volunteered service with the KGF. Under his leadership, the nonprofit organization awarded 80 four-year scholarships to junior golfers across Kansas, inducted 18 members to the Kansas Golf Hall of Fame, and grew the KGF’s endowment to new heights.

Phil’s legacy will continue on with the establishment of the Phil Miller Junior Golf Scholarship. The first recipient will be announced in Summer 2021. Generous donations were made to the KGF’s scholarship program in honor of Phil. Total raised through 3/8 totaled just over $25,000. Donations can still be made at Phil Miller Virtual Retirement Celebration (donordrive.com)
