Jeff Burey is the 49th member of the Kansas Golf Hall of Fame in the categories of both Club Professional and Contributor to the Game. Originally from Connecticut, Jeff caddied as a teen before spending four years in the Navy where he was able to play golf around the world. His dedication and passion for the game led him to head roles at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club (Pinehurst, NC), Wolf Creek Golf Links (Olathe, KS), Prairie Dunes Country Club (Hutchinson, KS), and Twin Oaks Golf Complex (Eudora, KS). Throughout his career, Jeff has been dedicated to helping the next generation fall in love with the game.

Jeff and his wife Cathy live in Overland Park and enjoy spending time with their 3 kids and 10 grandchildren.

  • 2021 – Received GCSAA Heart of America Chapter, Chester Mendenhall Award
  • 2021 – Published autobiographical book, foreword by Tom Watson
  • 2020 – Founded the Kaw Valley Junior Golf Foundation
